The Opportunity

Delaware North is searching for a Senior Accounting Manager over Revenue Integration and Order to Cash (OTC) to join the team based out of our global headquarters in Buffalo, New York. As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will lead the revenue integration team to automate the daily sales reporting process for all operating sectors of Delaware North. The Senior Accounting Manager will also oversee the OTC (accounts receivable) functional group within the global organization.

We offer a flexible work environment with a mix of remote and office work. The selected candidate must be located within a commutable distance to our global headquarters.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain ownership and accountability of overall revenue and Point of Sale (POS) integration activities.
  • Develop and implement a long term strategy for the automation and delivery of daily revenues.
  • Align with overall business goals and objectives while being flexible to accommodate changing project needs.
  • Work with Corporate Accounting to maintain GAAP revenue reporting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations and best practices.
  • Work closely with the field finance teams on best practices and process improvements.
  • Hire and train accounting and financial associates; conduct performance evaluations for personal development.
  • Influence the broader finance team in establishing objectives, timelines, and resources with the ability to facilitate a resolution to conflicts surrounding resources, priorities, and competing demands.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject required.
  • Minimum of 7 years related accounting experience.
  • At least 3 years in a management or supervisory role leading finance or accounting teams.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, manage competing agendas and priorities, and translate complex information across functions.
  • Occasional business travel required, which may include evenings and weekends.
