Responsible to lead key breakthrough projects in the areas of commercial and industrial refrigeration. Responsible for design, commissioning and start-up of test equipment to evaluate newly developed refrigerants and refrigerant blends. Needs to be hands-on in equipment setup and instrumentation. Ensure that a high level of scientific rigor is applied to all new projects and reported clearly to technical, business and marketing teams. Meet all key deliverables for NPD projects completed in full and on-time. Work closely with IP attorney to ensure that all Honeywell inventions are adequately covered.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise on a variety of projects and programs. You will use your knowledge and expertise of engineering and standards, processes, and tools to complete and ensure compliance of various projects. You are the point of contact for external customers and you may participate in development of new business opportunities and product lines
Experimental Design IP reviews Technical evaluation of internal and external offerings Drive key NPD projects to commercialization Innovation Technical reporting in a timely manner Technology design Risk Management
You Must Have
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry 5+ years of experience in refrigeration and/or air conditioning We Value
Advanced degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is desirable Hands on experience with refrigeration system design and modifications Knowledge or heat exchanger design Background in refrigeration systems modeling or CFD modeling Industrial design talent Team oriented with excellent interpersonal skills -ability to lead, motivate, develop, and mentor others Significant experience in engineering field Experience with new product and technology development in a highly regulated environment Ability to analyze and solve complex and complicated problems Proficiently and efficiently operate in a matrix organization Experience working in global teams across time zones Track record of successful contribution to products & projects Strong communication skills- written and verbal
