HIRING FULL-TIME: Junior Digital Graphic Designer
We are seeking a Junior Digital Graphic Designer to help re-launch our marketing and graphic design agency with philanthropic mission.
About the Company: We are a Long Island web development and marketing agency with offices in Manhattan. We work with a wide variety of businesses and individuals to create experiences that elevate brands, create connections, and help them execute a triple bottom line. Instead of one bottom line, we believe there should be three: profit, people, and the planet. The companies and individuals we work with focus as much on social and environmental concerns just as they do on profits. Our clientele includes members of the sports world, lawyers, financial consultants, music industry professionals, and many cable TV news guests.
About the Position: You will help redesign our web presence, print marketing, and social media sites. You ll be responsible for bringing success to a wide variety of sites, from strategy creation to execution and deployment, scaling with client needs, working in tandem with existing marketing efforts, and fostering relationships along the way. There is a lot of room to grow in this position and we encourage ambitious junior graphic designers to apply.
Who Should Apply? The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital design, a can-do attitude, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The position will offer the opportunity to work both individually and collaboratively on all aspects of the creative process for a wide range of digital projects. You ll be responsible for working directly with senior management and directors to help translate our key messages and vision into high-quality communications, from initial concept to completion. This position is ideal for a junior graphic designer looking to grow their portfolio and design many different projects with social and philanthropic missions.
The candidate must be action-oriented and energetic, with an ability to move projects forward quickly.
Must be a creative, strategic thinker who is able to grasp the big picture, while simultaneously executing key tasks.
Must be team player, functioning within the Digital Marketing team, and be both persuasive and adept at working with the Lines of Business to accomplish goals.
Good communicator, both written and oral (strong attention to detail and copy).

Develop fresh and unique digital solutions on websites.
Maintain technical knowledge of best practices related to graphics, color, typography, illustration, and photography.
Develop a deep practical understanding of the brand, and collaborate to evolve the brand.
Work with Marketing Director to translate strategies into creative solutions that meet and often exceed expectations.
1-3 years of experience in graphic design
Knowledge of Corel, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and other graphic design software Excellent eye for detail & copy
Strong portfolio of cutting-edge visual design that proves solid design skills and for- ward thinking.
Experience in user-centered web, email and social media graphics.
Proven ability to create and deliver conceptual wireframes, user flow diagrams, and low-fidelity prototypes to communicate design concepts for discussion (Website development from conception to completion).
Website development and social marketing.
Ability to articulate the qualities and benefits of a design approach.
Ability to translate interaction and design requirements to front and back-end develop- ers is a plus.
Future-forward and concept-driven thinking. Working knowledge to be able to convert designs to HTML/CSS files.
Must have a strong understanding of responsive design.
Must understand how to follow brand guidelines.
Must have strong organization and project management skills.
Expert understanding of marketing principles and industry dynamics. Technical Skills Required Thorough understanding of HTML
Experience with Canva, Sketch, InVision, Visme, or Figma is desired
Working knowledge of Creative Suite (i.e Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.)
Compensation: The starting salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year. Our compensation package includes generous paid time off, 15 16 paid holidays per year, a 401(k) and healthcare plan, summer hours, in-office perks and remote-work flexibility. The ideal candidate will be located in the Tri-State area (New Jersey, New York or Connecticut).
