Moxie is currently hiring Account Coordinators in NYC to support several account teams in their day-to-day operations, including analyzing media coverage, researching, keeping tabs on reporter moves, and maintaining internal documents for greater client coverage. Successful candidates will have 2 years of experience (internships included) in a fast-paced, PR administrative capacity, strong project management and organizational skills, and a real excitement to learn from experienced, successful professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor media daily for trends, new reporters, and client/competitor placements; communicate findings and update internal documents; create and maintain targeted media lists

  • Track all press coverage and create media reports

  • Manage and create meeting agendas and recaps, client fact sheets, media alerts, bios and other relevant materials throughout client campaigns

  • Research media-relevant influencers and specific editorial beats per client

  • Pull editorial calendars and highlight opportunities for each client

  • Assist in pitch writing, editorial award submissions, and media responses

  • Participate in internal and client brainstorming sessions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, or similar area of concentration

  • 2+ years of experience, including applicable internships, in a fast-paced PR administrative capacity

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (creative PowerPoint presentations required), Google apps (Gmail, Google Docs, etc.), and social media platforms

  • Ability to multi-task and deliver on a high volume of projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail

  • Upbeat personality with a real desire to learn
